Mumshandmade is a slow-fashion knitwear brand creating handmade cardigans and sweaters using traditional techniques. Each piece is crafted with care, natural materials, and attention to detail, focusing on quality, longevity, and individuality.The brand was founded from a deep love for knitting, craftsmanship, and timeless design. What began as a personal passion grew organically into a knitwear label that values the process as much as the final piece.

At Mumshandmade, we believe clothing should be made slowly, thoughtfully, and with respect for both the maker and the wearer.Every Mumshandmade piece is hand-knitted and made to order by skilled local artisans.

Our designs are luxurious and not mass-produced, and we do not follow fast-fashion cycles. Instead, we focus on creating distinctive silhouettes, chunky textures, and modern yet timeless shapes that can be worn and loved for years. We also develop and work with our own high-quality yarns, allowing us to maintain control over the feel, weight, and durability of each garment.Because our knitwear is handmade using natural fibres, each piece has its own character. 2013 - Mumshandmade is founded in Greece by Andreas and Christina, with a focus on bold, hand-knitted garments made one by one.

2014–2016

The brand grows organically through word of mouth, with every piece produced locally by experienced knitters.

2017–2019

International recognition increases. Mumshandmade begins developing proprietary yarn blends to achieve specific weight, texture, and structure.

2020–2022

Production remains independent and small-batch, with full control over design, materials, and manufacturing. No mass production, no outsourcing.

2023–Today

Mumshandmade operates with vertically integrated production — from yarn to finished garments — serving customers worldwide with made-to-order pieces.

Today

Each Mumshandmade piece is still made individually, using the same principles established at the beginning: craftsmanship, intention, and respect for the process.

Our dedicated artisans typically require up to 14 business days to complete each knitted or crocheted piece.

It's important to note that the shipping method duration begins after we have finished crafting and dispatched your item.
